    Prasonisi – the most southern point of Rhodes. The very name of the cape is translated as “Green Island”. Most of the people immediately asking the same question – is it an island or a cape? The thing is that both terms are true to Prasonisi, because in winter time it is separated from Rhodes by the sea and rightfully called the island, and in summer when the water level is lower – the sand road connects two islands. This place is famous primarily because iof the point of confluence of two seas surrounding Rhodes – Aegean and Mediterranean. Locals call this place – “Kiss of the two seas.”
    The isthmus connecting two islands consist of nice sand and actualy is a gorgeous beach. Because of the seas confluence, in this place in any weather is salutary breeze that will help you to stay cool even on the hot Rhodes sun.
