Kalithea district is famous for its mineral springs and spa saunas, which are on top of a cliff, and was built back in the days when the island belonged to the Turks. Now they’re closed for renovation, but still, anyone can come here to stroll through the magnificent park and admire the sea views. Apart from anything else – this place is very popular among photographers, who early in the morning come here to make gorgeous photoshoot on the background of the rising sun, sea and picturesque Greek nature.
Kalithea quiet, tranquil town, that is why it’s usually preferred by those who are tired of noisy city and wants to spend vacation in communion with himself and nature. In the evening you can eat dinner at local taverns or take a walk on the beach along the sea, the benefit that almost all the hotels equipped coast with romantic lanterns. For lovers of active rest, literally next door situated another tourist resort – Faliraki, famous for its nightlife.
